Ali’i is a box mod from R&R Manufacturing. Ali’i is made out of real wood and you can choose from 6 different types and combine them as you like. There are 2 different Voltage versions. 3.7V/6V and variable voltage. The VV version costs $35 extra and you need two 3.6 or 3.7 Volt CR123A (16340) batteries to run it. You can even choose the material of the threading (brass or stainless steel). Built-in 6ml liquid container and feeding system come as a standard. All units are built to order so expect a 3-4 week delivery time.

Got my variable volt Ali’i about 3 weeks ago, Ryan who is local to me was kind enough do drop it off at work place. I have been using it none stop since and love it. I have used several other bottom fed box mods and this one is far superior, no leaks, almost flood proof and the feed system just works, no guessing if my atomizer is fed coupled with the variable volt option, this is my ultimate PV. The craftsmanship and quality are excellent and I will be purchasing another as a backup soon.
Ease of use makes this one of the top mods on the market! If it was made of metal and had regulated variable voltage it would be king!

Top notch, high quality PV with perhaps the best feed system in its class. The catch cup it a great feature—no spills ever. The button is well-placed and the shape of the body fits perfectly in the hand, giving it an edge over more squared off juice mods. It takes a wide variety of atomizers (510 native) and is available in a 3.7v/6v version as well as a VV version. As with everything, it has its cons, and this one’s biggest drawback is that it’s somewhat fragile. A hard drop could lead to damage (it did in my case, and it did according to a post on the ECF). But if you’re careful not to drop it, it’s going to provide many years of excellent, reliable vaping. And the manufacturer is a pleasure to deal with.
Beautiful mod. Great feed system, though I suspect liquid leaks into the switch and makes contact issues. Nothing an alcohol bath won’t cure.
Fit and finish was much improved between my first Ali”i and my second. (about 4 months). That said, my second Ali’i still needs and alcohol bath from time to time to keep the switch firing every time.
