ProVari Variable Voltage mod is the second e-cig device from ProVape. The first mod to feature a single battery buck/boost circuit offering a variable voltage range of 3.3 – 6 volts. You can change the voltage with just a few button presses, no screwdriver needed. Voltage stays the same regardless of the battery power left (regulated voltage). This model will work with a single 18490 battery (AW 1100mah high drain recommended). You can also use a regular 18500 battery but with a limited voltage range or a 18650 battery with an extension cap. Single battery designs are much safer than stacked batteries and will out perform stacked battery devices. ProVari features: Microprocessor controlled variable voltage from 3.3V to 6V (.1 volt increments), built-in display and translucent light-up pushbutton with low battery indicator, 16 seconds safety cut-off, venting system, short circuit and reverse battery protection, thermal monitoring system, amperage limiting, battery monitor and over-discharge protection. Now available with polished chrome or texture black finish and special collector’s edition end caps. Latest limited edition finish is the beautiful 24 carat gold one (see below).
Update: ProVari Version 2 (V2) now has a voltage range from 2.9V to 6V. More importantly the amperage limit has been updated from 2.5 amps to 3.5 amps. This means that you can now use dual coil and low resistance atomizers without the protection circuitry shutting the unit down at higher voltages.

I had to wait for my provari over 2 weeks but this device is well worth the wait and every cent i paid. Ordered the standard device plus extension part and some high drain batteries. The built-in display is by far the coolest e-cig innovation. You can check and adjust your voltage, check atty ohms and even more so you are quaranteed to find your own “sweet spot” with this device. Even the smaller 18490 batteries last a full day for me, havent tested the 18650 ones yet. Overall the device feels very sturdy and comfortable. Button works every time and i like it but it’s a matter of taste if you like the feel of it. There will eventually be a device better than this but at the moment you’d be wasting your money if you buy something else.
I order a Provari and it took three weeks to get it in my hands and while the wait sucked it was well worth it. I have been vaping and modding for awhile now and own multiple mods, this mod dominates and easily replaces them all.
Things I like-
Screen and Menu System: As stated in the first review, the voltage can be adjusted up or down, the device can be turned off / on so the button will not fire without cycling through the menu and switching it on. The battery voltage can be checked, atomizer / cartomizer ohms, resistance can be checked and the firing button can have the light turned off.
The size of the mod is fantastic without the extension cap for the 18650 it is the same length as the Prodigy V3 and only slightly larger is diameter. The finish is comparable to the V3′s media blasted finish. Chalkboard feel but at the same time feels clean and looks great, no finger prints left behind.
The VV is the way of the future. Everything I put on the Provari (MAP Tanks, Atomizers, Cartomizers, CE2s…everything can be dialed into the optimal voltage / wattage (the wattage is key) and boy this thing vapes like no other when tuned right. Being able to test the ohms makes finding the wattage a breeze. Voltage divided by ohms then timed by voltage is the wattage. 510s like 9 watts but user preference can be different. But remember it is adjustable to YOU. (LR atty @ 1.5omhs running @ 3.7v is exactly 9 watts. {3.7v / 1.5ohms * 3.7v = 9.15 watts})
Things I don’t like:
I have found that longer standard 18650s can keep the extension cap from screwing all the way down.The 18650 extension cap fits the IMR batteries flawlessly. However it does still work even if it is not screwed all the way down.
Waiting but like I said it was well worth it. Now that you have read my novel stop waiting and go order one.

After owning the Provari for 3 months, I just ordered myself another. I am really impressed with this PV, but I also saw that they are making a limited edition of black and chrome ones. I opted for a black one. Depending on my finances, I may order the chrome one down the line and will have all three. I really can’t say enough good things about this PV. It literally replaced all seven of my other mods. I only use my other mods now when I want to give my Provari a rest. It’s just amazing when you dial into that perfect setting. The build quality is unreal. Like someone else said, it’s the best thing out right now hands down. Sure something better might come around one day, but I will ALWAYS still use my Provari even when and if that happens. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if the next big thing comes from the same company, Provape. I don’t own the original Provape-1 but I hear nothing but good things about that PV also. I would really keep an eye on this company as they are clearly trend setters with an amazing product and clearly just an overall good company.
Best darn device made. Just buy it.
I have had two other vari volt mods, they do not come come to this beauty. Soild construction, easy to use, and great vaping.
I really cannot say enough good things about it.
I have had mine for a month now and am more impressed every day I use it.
You can get cheaper vari volt mods but you will regret doing so, buy this one and have no regrets.
What can I say? If you don’t own one or have used one then you just don’t know. With its looks, feel, functionality and safety features it’s simply the best. Excellent warranty and great customer service to boot. I’m sold for life.
I’ve had mine for a week now and all I can say is WOW. I wish this device was around when I made the switch to ecigs about a year ago. The provari is solid period. If your on the fence because of the price just bite the bullet and buy it this will be all you need. The guys over at provape are stand up people who are truley revolutionizing the ecig world. I can’t speak enough about this device.
provari is my second mod first was prodigy v3 which i liked using a cartamizer but the provari has every thing you couid ask for the vari voltage lets you use any ohm atty and if volts are to high it will shut down to let you lower voltage being able to check ohms on atty is great ordered black rec in less than one week the only bad thing that happened to me is strange looks from some people one lady thought i was putting a wrench in my mouth but i love it thanks Brian
The word “Perfect” cant touch the feeling i have for this great product!Even its my real first mod,am sure that will be and my last.Excellent VV and easy going menu.The price even is a litte bit expensive worth that spended cush,or simply i can call it easy value for money!This one and have no regrets.

I have had my Provari for about 8 months. It is the only device I use or recommend now. It performs perfectly! I wish I had found a Provari years ago and I would have saved a small fortune by not trying all other mods. If you buy a Provari you won’t ever need or want another vaping device. This is absolutely, hands down, the best mod out there at present. The mfg. quality is excellent, with no switch problems, no ruined thread problems, or any of the things that go wrong with others. The Provari is USA made and they do stand behind it all the way with good service.
Just buy one and save yourself money, problems, and wasted time!!
I waited a long time to buy this mod. I kept waiting to read a major negative about it .Just being a negative person.Never heard one really bad thing about it.I bought a few mods some that I am happy with.None of them compare to this mod it is with out a doubt the nicest mod I own.Wish I bought it in the beginning and saved some money.I use it at home I use an ego or a V3 when I am out.The Provari would probably stand up to a pretty good trashing, I just don’t want to lose it.
I had in the past Provari v1 black chrome and I was so happy with it.
Now I have Provari mini v2 with blue led and is greater than I thought.
Is one of the best PV(VV) devices out there,
Only few and probably none of other mods compare with Provari.
You can just buy one and save money and time to choose atty and e-liquids.
